This is one of the famous dating platforms, QuackQuack has been installed by more than 10 million people on the Play Store. This app has also received positive reviews from millions of users. This app is especially designed for Indian users and in this app, you get to see profiles of millions of Indian people.

This app is available in both free and paid versions. On the QuackQuack app, you can meet single people, talk to them, make friends with them, and date them.

QuackQuack User Interface

To be honest, I am not very happy with QuackQuack’s user interface. The design of this app has been kept very simple and does not feel that special to use.

The most common feature of any dating app is a left and right swap. but in QuackQuack, instead of this, the feature of like and skip is given which feels quite boring and old-fashioned.

This app has a boring and old-fashioned interface everywhere and while using it, you do not get such a smooth experience as you get while using other popular dating apps like Tinder and Bumble.

Due to the old-fashioned interface, you may get a bad experience while using this app, but if the user interface is not so important to you, then you can use this app.

Even though the design of this App is not so good, but this App is easy to use, you do not get to see many advanced features in it, hence even a beginner and non-technical person can use it easily.

QuackQuack Matching Algorithm

Matches is the most important feature of this app. When you open this app, you first see the matches on the home screen. In matches, you get to see profiles of users which you can like or skip. You can write your favorite profiles; if you do not like any profile, you can skip it.

If you want detailed information about a user, then you do not need to open his profile, you just have to scroll and you will get to see all the information about the user. Here you can see the verification status of the user whether the user has verified his account through Facebook or mobile number. Verification which shows whether the user is fake or real.

In Matches, you are mostly shown profiles around your current location. When I was testing this app, I selected my location as Pune, and after that, I started seeing user profiles of all Pune in Matches. However, you can set any location by applying a filter and seeing the user profiles there.

The matching algorithm of QuackQuack also works well. As far as I have tested this app, one thing I found out is that on QuackQuack, you are shown profiles according to your interests, location, education, and age. That is Good!

If you like someone on this platform and want to talk to them, then you can message them directly. but to message you have to take their paid plan, we will talk about this further.

QuackQuack User Base

QuackQuack Dating App has 33 million registered users! This is a very big number, so you have a very high chance of finding your partner on this app. The number of registered users on any dating platform decides how reliable it is because if the user base is low then there is no point in subscribing to that platform, so you should always choose a dating app with a good user base and QuackQuack is one of them.

However, we should not blindly trust the user base only because dating apps often create fake user profiles to increase the usage of the app and for marketing. we should protect ourselves from such fake apps and users.

During the testing, I saw some inactive users on the QuackQuack App as well, but it was difficult to determine whether they were real or fake users. However, after doing some detailed research on user profiles, I found out that those profiles were created by actual users but were inactive for some reason.

Many times people find their partner on dating apps but forget to delete their profiles and many times people just create profiles on the dating app for time to pass and leave them, in these cases, they use fake information and fake pictures instead of their personal information but in reality, they are real users. I saw something similar on the QuackQuack app. On this app, you will find hundreds of such profiles on which users have put pictures of other things like cat images, nature images, and AI-generated images.

QuackQuack Communication Features

In QuackQuack you get the Text messaging feature, which works only in paid plans. If you do not like chatting through text messaging, you may face problems here because there is no feature for audio and video calls in the QuackQuack app.

Its text messaging feature is also not very advanced, I did not find its user experience so special. although in this app you can talk to other users through text messaging, you also feel the lack of some important features like deleting, editing, etc. At least the facility to delete messages should have been there but they have not provided this feature.

Another important feature that seems to be lacking in this app is “messaging status”. While chatting in this app, we do not know whether our message has been sent or not or whether the other person has received our message or not.

Apart from this, even when the other user is typing the message, we do not get the typing status. Here you do not even know the status of the user whether he/she is online or offline.

QuackQuack Subscription and Pricing

We get to see the 3 plans for getting QuackQuack Plus – a 12-month plan, a 6-month plan, and a 1-month plan. let me explain to you the plans in detail!

If you take a one-year plan, then at the rate of Rs 150 per month, this plan will cost you Rs 1800, but if you buy it during the discount period, you get a full discount of Rs 720 and the one-year plan of Rs 1800 will cost you just Rs 1080.

Similarly, if you purchase a 6-month plan, it will cost you just Rs 695. if you purchase 1 month plan, it will cost you only Rs 209.

So which plan is best?

I’ll recommend you go with the 1-month plan! It’s cheaper and gives you premium features for one month.

If you are a beginner, Never go with the 6-month and 12-month plans. Start with the one-month plan and try and test the app.

1 month is enough period to explore any dating app features, if you enjoyed the app in your 1 month period then you can decide and choose your next plan.

QuackQuack Support and Help Resources

QuackQuack has a Help & support option by using that you can contact the QuackQuack team to resolve your issues but I did not like its help & support so much.

First of all, this feature should work within the QuackQuack App itself, whereas it redirects you to the browser where you have to log in to your account again.

You don’t get any detailed tutorials and guides here. They have prepared a list of questions from which you have to select the question related to your problem after which its solution is given in short.

If your problem is not solved by the solution given by them then you have to select the contact support option. in which you have to submit a ticket in which you have to explain your problem in detail and submit it after which the QuackQuack team solves your problem within 24 hours.

24 hours is a lot of time to solve any problem, so it was very important to have a Live Chat feature in the QuackQuack app, but the live chat feature is not available in it.

QuackQuack Performance

In my testing, QuackQuack’s overall performance was OKAY!

I used and tested QuackQuack’s Android App for 1 month and during this time I did not notice any unwanted app crashes or major problems in this app.

In some aspects, its performance has been abysmal and in some aspects, its performance has been much better than my expectations.

I do not find the user interface and user experience of this app so special, I can call it a useful app.

Apart from UI/UX, if I talk about its features? it’s quite good and has something unique that makes it easier for the users to find a partner.

I found its notification system a bit irritating. Even if someone visits your profile, the same notification is sent to you again and again in different ways from the QuackQuack App.

Even if your internet is off, notifications are sent to you through text messages. While this may be interesting for some users, I don’t like it.

QuackQuack Unique Features

The QuackQuack App allows you to create a free profile and add your photos. Apart from this, you can also do an advanced search here in which you can select the age range and city to find the matches out of millions of profiles.

Here you can see matches related to your age group and city. And when I tried this filter, I got excellent results. These filters work, using which you can find perfect matches.

Another unique feature of QuackQuack is “Find my crush“, This is a super brilliant feature I found in dating apps till now.

This feature helps you to match yourself with your crush, all you have to do is enter your mobile number, your crush’s name, and your crush’s mobile number, Then The QuackQuack app notifies you if your crush likes you back.

Conclusion

QuackQuack is a great and cheap dating app in which you get premium features at a very affordable price. There are 33 million registered users on this dating app and it is a trusted platform. Creating a profile and uploading pictures on this app is free. However, you will not get other premium features in the free plan. To get other premium features, you have to take advantage of its paid plan.

I have used and tested this app for a month, based on which I have told you some of my views through this article. I did not like the user interface and user experience of the QuackQuack App but its features are really impressive and its matching algorithm is also quite powerful. I have given this app a rating of 4.1 out of 10.
